Native Texan Jim Gough has
entertained folks around the country with his baritone
voice and guitar for decades. Jim has led his own
authentic Western Swing Band, The Cosmopolitan Cowboys
since 1975. The band has played folk festivals, county
fairs, rodeos and dance halls across the country. Jim is
well known in the Southwest for his hundreds of radio
and TV commercials as well as character roles in over 20
feature films. Jim has narrated over 50 'western
audiobooks' for Otis Audio and Blackstone Audio.
Jim's been a radio DJ, talk show host and has produced
many television programs as well. Jim and his band are
active in the Austin Texas area today. Jim's latest
movie, "Mi Amigo" is available on DVD in video stores
nationally.
